Announcement: U.S. State Dept. Special Passport Acceptance Fairs

The State Dept. is holding special "Passport Acceptance Fairs" across the U.S. to facilitate citizens getting their first passport. First-time applicants, users of the DS11 form, can apply in-person at these fairs. Renewals should still be processed by mail.
Special Passport Fairs for first-time passport applicants, individuals who had a childhood passport that has now expired or individuals who have a change in name can apply in-person to get a new passport via these visits from the U.S. State Department Passport Agency.

Also, if you're not quite ready to apply now or wish to have help in renewing, there will be an on-campus event this Fall during International Education Week, co-sponsored by the Office of Global Affairs, Global Administrative and Travel Support, the Duke Visa Office and the International House.  Save the date for this event to be held on November 16, 2017 on Duke's West Campus.  More information to be announced in the Fall.
